Vestige Customs Since 2023

A Vestige is a trace, a reminder, of what was once there. Something that has disappeared or is disappearing. 

Motoring was once full of passion and excitement, a feeling that it was the key, metaphorically and literally, to freedom. Cars you had to drive, interact with, care for and ultimatley fall in love with. Sadly new offerings from manufacturers do not fulfil this. 

Now it feels like a vestige, only a trace of this passion remains.

This is the bedrock that Vestige Customs was founded upon. A feeling that cars should still give you that fizz every single time you open the door and step inside.

We hope you feel as we do every time you turn the key and start the engine of a Land Rover that has been cherished by Vestige. 

Being immersed in Land Rovers from a young age it was only a matter of time before I acquired one myself.  

A tired and run-down 1984 Series 3 caught my eye, I saw its potential, it felt like a blank canvas for imagination and customisation. Since that moment, all I could think about was the enjoyment of driving that truck around. It centered around fun instead of just A-B. 

And thats what Vestige is about, fun, creativity and workmanship. The car was improved and restored, ensuring the footprint of that utilitarian workhorse remained. 

It might never be the most beautiful car in the show but its certainly the most charming. You can resist beauty, but you can’t resist charm.
